Assad Waathiq previously led technology and disruptive commerce initiatives at JPMorgan. He has held roles at BDO, Citigroup, BNP Paribas, and the Royal Bank of Canada, and is a Cornell University alumnus.

He serves on the advisory boards of Oakland Tech Exchange and the Yosemite Conservancy, and advises organizations including Presidio Graduate School, the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, Third Millennium Alliance, and the Oakland Fund for Public Innovation.

Assad believes in addressing society’s urgent challenges through sustainable business solutions and advises companies on strategic finance, communications, partnerships, and business development. He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics and Political Science at Cornell.
